Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. -Mathew 6:34

Feed My Sheep

For my personal ministry hours this week I helped serve at Feed My Sheep.  Feed My Sheep is such a great place to serve because all the volunteers have such great attitudes and willing to go the extra mile.  At my time there I prepared chicken, chopped garlic, and did a bunch of other odd jobs.  I was particularly excited about preparing the chicken because that is something I have never done before.  Clarence showed me how to cut and slice it and I think that I did a pretty good job.

After we were done preparing the food, we were able to greet and serve the people.  I love this time of fellowship.   Because Feed My Sheep is a place that I have been to multiple times I have been able to build relationships with the people.   They will tell me these crazy stories and I will encourage them that there is always hope and let them know that they are in my prayers.

All together I was there a little over 4 hours.  Between the preparing, the fellowship serving, and clean-up I had a great time and was able to spread a little bit of encouragement throughout the day.
