Winterfest weeks are always the most difficult time to
document body shop hours. This time
around instead of working on homework I decided to go to the gym that was at
the hotel. For half an hour I did a
combination of the elliptical, the bike, crunches, and weights for my arms. The elliptical and bike strengthened my legs
and got my heart rate up and the crunches and weights toned my abs and arms. For the next 30 minutes I swam laps around
the pool. I had forgotten what a workout
swimming was. I thought this was going
to be a cool down, but it actually got my heart rate going faster than before.
My second body shop was only 30 minutes due to the lack of
time we had this weekend. I once again
went to the gym in the hotel. This time
I did ½ mile on the elliptical, ½ mile on the treadmill, and 1 mile on the
bike. After this my legs were a bit
tired so I decided to work on my arms yet again. This workout was short but very intense.
After returning from Winterfest I woke up early in the morning
and did a half hour of legs, abs, and cardio.
After being so tired from the previous days this took all the energy
that I had. It was very difficult but I
guess it will be rewarding in the long run.
After all of this I still had 1 hr. to complete so I did it
all again. All of this including, cardio
for 10 min., legs for 10 min., arms for 10 min,
abs for 10 min., and a 10 min. cool down. I have found that after doing all of these things
over and over that I am becoming better at them. I think it may be time to move to something a
bit harder.
